THE MOST UNIQUE HOST IN SPORTS

What is Watch D.A.?

“Watch D.A.” refers to Damon Amendolara’s vibrant and one-of-a-kind YouTube channel. D.A. has created nearly a half dozen video franchises that are all housed on his video page. In addition to hosting mornings on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio, D.A. has developed a diverse collection of video content.

His flagship show “Watch D.A. Live” airs every Sunday evening from his home studios (or on location) via YouTube as well as X and IG Live. The series premiered in March 2024, and grew into a favorite weekly “hangout” for listeners and high profile guests alike. It mixes D.A.’s strong sports opinions, with candid interviews, giveaways, and more, showcasing D.A.’s social media creativity and community-building expertise.

What are the other shows?

Bill Matic: During football season, D.A. hosts a Buffalo Bills postgame reaction show. The title is an homage to the legendary hip-hop album “Illmatic,” a nod to the Bills’ golden era of the ‘90s.

What Happened?: A series investigating forgotten stars in sports history and why the downfalls happened.

Q & D.A.: Insightful, candid, long form conversations with newsmakers in sports and culture.

NOMAD: Think Bourdain-meets-bleachers. This is D.A.’s culinary and cultural adventures through his road trips for sports.

Innovation. Good vibes. Heart.

“SiriusXM has given me an incredible platform. We have so much fun in the mornings. ‘Watch D.A.’ is a way to connect even deeper with those DA-liens and keep growing the audience. YouTube is an amazing blank canvas. It has about 2.5 billion active users per month. Sports fans are watching all types of content there. So I wanted to take my imagination, build the best team of people I could find, and deliver something special.

This channel is for my fans who listen to me on SiriusXM every morning, and the ones who haven’t even found me yet. This channel should be one big meet-and-greet, where we bring together listeners from every one of my radio stops, and then also capture young people who have grown up using YouTube for all their content.

These are all the fun conversations I have with my friends in the sports world come to life on a digital screen. These are the ideas that rattle around my brain, and a cool way to create an even stronger DA-lien community. I’m taking ‘Watch D.A. Live’ on the road to anchor fan gatherings, like the trip to Oakland in June ‘24. This is a positive place to gather in the chats and comments sections, and get away from negativity in media. As I say at the end of every show, ‘Be good, and be good to one another.’ This is the home for those great vibes. Welcome aboard.“
